AMHERST, NY - Two people have been hospitalized after a car crashed into a Sunoco gas station early Wednesday morning.
Town of Tonawanda Police say the driver, a 79-year-old man, was suffering from a medical condition at the time of the accident.
The driver hit the Sunoco on Niagara Falls Boulevard and Ellicott Creek, reversed and hit the building again several more times.
Once inside, the car struck the station clerk. He was taken to Millard Fillmore Suburban to be treated for minor neck and hip pain.
Police say the driver was very unsteady as police arrived and was taken to Kenmore Mercy to be checked out.
No charges will be filed against the driver but a Driver Review was submitted to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
